I have re-discovered a long lost medium! Aparantly its called charcoal and involves drawing with burnt sticks!! It is absolutely wonderful to draw with. I decided to take a brief break from my children's book and do a big charcoal drawing for the fun of it. And I am having a LOT of fun with. The drawing is 22 x 30, so it is going to take some time. But, I am about half way done in two days of intensive drawing.

Looking like a nice job Mike. It has a good soft feel to it...adds to the imaginative quality I think.
Dang you, you are so good at drawing! I just finished a charcoal and cante marathon sketch for a friend of a friend. You make it look easier than it really is.
