Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw! I got me a Deadline!

Seeing as how I'm not a famous stay at home professional artist packed to the gills with deadlines, I am thrilled to say that I have provided myself with an honest to goodness deadline (it only cost $70)! I have registered with the Stumptown Comics Fest (www.stumptowncomics.com) and have secured myself half a table. This means that I have to have the first chapter of my comic done and printed by the time April rolls around, or I shall look foolish and my wife will yell at me to no end. So, anybody who considers themselves my friend (or fan...I think I have one that isn't related to me) should stop by my booth and buy a comic, or a poster, or a print, or give me a hi five, or a thumbs up, etc. etc.

I'm a fan and lo, I am not related. Tell me if there are more.... Peter Keyes is a fan...no relation. Hmmm. Must be more hiding around here somewhere.

Well congrats on the deadline and all, but where are the pictures? I want to see some art!

PS, My Isaac saw your card above one of our doors and told me he wanted it framed and put up in his room (that's where most of your other work is)

Hi Mike,

My name is Tawnya Bell. I'm a friend of your sister Amy's from Montana. You've probably nver heard about me, but I figured I'd let you know you have another non-family fan. :) I've been keeping tabs on your blog for the last year or so. At the moment I'm a very busy mom of two, but I've been dreaming of writing a children's book for years, and when I saw some of your art work at Amy's house I fell in love with it. One of these days I'll get my book finnished and you can have yourself another deadline.
